How to Glorify God

What does it mean to glorify God?

"We don't just listen to God's word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves (James 1:22.)

We don't want to fall into a legalism. We are made in His image. We want to model and be a reflection of His image. Well, we will never be able to do it like Jesus did but we thank Him for His grace and mercy every day!

So how do we do this? Everything we say and do should glorify God! We do it by loving Him and giving Him all the glory for what He does through us despite our circumstances. This will look different for every believer but your life should look different than a non-believer. We are set apart and should be a light in the darkness. We should be praising and worshiping Him, be in prayer, being obedient to His Word, and work like we are working for the Lord. Listen to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to speak to you through His Word to guide you in the gifts He has given you!
